Poi ’n Kai is an original children’s book series set in a futuristic island world where best friends train to become Guardians.
Inspired by our Maui community, Hawaiian and Polynesian influences, Filipino, Asian, and Hispanic influences, futuristic technology, and emotional growth, the series follows Kai, Poi, Olive, and their classmates as they navigate friendship, bullying, self-worth, perseverance, purpose, and courage.
Unlike traditional superhero stories focused only on power, Poi ’n Kai centers heavily on emotional resilience, identity, teamwork, and character values.
Each story is designed to help children understand that mistakes, setbacks, and failures are not proof that they are incapable — they are often the very things that help reveal purpose and growth.
At its core, Poi ’n Kai is about learning that true strength comes from kindness, humility, perseverance, discipline, and bravery.
Eggwish™
A Story About Hope, Becoming, and What’s Already Inside You
Eggwish began with a simple question:
What if a wish wasn’t about becoming someone else… but becoming more of who you already are?
Eggwish is an original children’s book and growing family brand centered around hope, imagination, emotional encouragement, and self-belief.
The story follows children making heartfelt wishes that magically travel through a whimsical Easter-inspired world filled with Spring Nesters, magical eggs, Everhop the Easter bunny, and imaginative storytelling rooted in emotional growth.
Eggwish is ultimately about reminding children that the magic they are searching for already exists within them.

Imagination Starz is an original preschool entertainment and educational media brand focused on creativity, emotional learning, imagination, music, and child-centered learning experiences.

Red Light Sleep™
Creating Calmer Nighttime Environments for Families
Red Light Sleep was created after noticing how overstimulating many children’s sleep videos and nighttime environments had become.
Fast movement. Bright colors. Constant stimulation.
Even many “calming” videos still felt visually overwhelming.
As a parent of a sensory-sensitive child, I became deeply aware of how atmosphere affects emotional regulation, rest, focus, and bedtime routines.
That eventually led to the creation of Red Light Sleep — a calming sleep and relaxation media brand focused on:

Imagination Characters Maui brings Marissa Molina’s original storytelling into real-world experiences through live character interactions, themed events, and immersive family entertainment.
Originally rooted in children’s entertainment and character appearances, the vision evolved into creating original characters and worlds rather than relying on existing copyrighted properties.
This shift helped inspire the development of many of the original brands now housed under Imagination Reality Studios.
